Community Health Councils, on behalf of its network of coalitions and community partners, would like to announce the creation of a Community Advisory Group for South Los Angeles.
The idea to create a CAG is based on the recognition that community residents should have a say in decisions that affect where they live, work and play. To that end, we envision this group as a place where South LA residents come together to share concerns and pose solutions to issues that impact their health and wellbeing, as well as a place where they can learn how and have the opportunity to be a champion for the rights of their communities.
We are asking for your help in recruiting 10-12 residents to become a part of this group.
To take part, residents must:
- Live in one of the following South Los Angeles ZIP codes
Primary residence must be in one of the following zip codes: 90001, 90002, 90003, 90008, 90011, 90016, 90018, 90037, 90043, 90044, 90045, 90047, 90059, 90061, 90062, 90220, 90245, 90249, 90250, 90260, 90301, 90302, 90303, 90304, and 90305.
