sad news about the passing of someone in our community

I am sorry to share such sad news, but this weekend, Elissa Bradley, a friend and colleague passed away in a sudden accident while traveling. Prior to moving from LA last fall, Elissa was Project Manager at Drew University’s Pacific AIDS Education & Training Center (PAETC). Elissa dd so much with the HIV Drug & Alcohol Task Force. She went above and beyond to help out whenever she could – which was often. She was so smart, and so open and friendly…  (speaking for myself, I learned so much from her, and am devastated by the loss personally, and to the entire community)

Everyone who knew Elissa was moved by her optimism, enthusiasm, passion for social justice, and love for all.

There will be a West Coast service for her in the coming weeks. For those of you who would like more information, please feel free to contact:

So sorry to hear of this tragic loss. Elissa sounds like she was a wonderful person and my thoughts are with her family and friends.
It is so hard to lose someone who gave so much to others.
My heart goes out to all who love her…..
