Dear HIV DATF friends,
One of our long-time members, Terri Reynolds from AADAP, Inc. will be running the LA Big 5K on February 13, 2016.
She is running on behalf of her employer AADAP Inc. Her goal is to raise funds to continue to help recovering addicts and provide vital services to low-income and under-served communities.
As you may already know, the Asian American Drug Abuse Program, Inc. (AADAP) is one of the largest providers of substance abuse services in Los Angeles County, reaching more than 16,000 men, women and children every year. AADAP also serves the greater, non-Asian American population, as well as dual diagnosis patients – substance abuse/mental health, substance abuse & HIV-AIDS – making these services unique in Los Angeles County. AADAP relies on donations from individuals like you now more than ever.
This is why she is committed to raise at least $500 before February 14th, although she would like to raise even more. She is asking for your support. Any donation you can make to help her meet or exceed her goal would be most appreciated.
To make a donation on her behalf, you can donate online. It’s very easy:
If you are unable to make a donation at this time, won’t you please help me spread the word by telling 5 to 10 of your friends? Or, if you have some fundraising ideas of your own and want to help me reach my goal, I’d love to hear from you.
This race is not easy, and it’s known for steep hills. Yet, it is nothing compared to the challenge that those living with addiction face every day. And I can’t think of a better way to do something to help in the journey towards recovery.
I want to thank you for supporting me in this big undertaking. When I hit the road onFebruary 13, 2016 to complete my 5K, I’ll know that you helped me and many others along the way.
Terri Washington Reynolds
