Increased Access to Services (XU) Program


The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Victim Services and Public Safety Branch, is pleased to announce the release of the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Increased Access to Services (XU) Program. The XU Program is designed to provide one-time funding for approximately 20 projects at $125,000 plus Match each to victim service providers to increase physical and/or programmatic access to services for victims of crime with disabilities, including those with access and functional needs. Eligible Subrecipients include community-based organizations and governmental agencies that provide direct services to victims.


The XU Program is funded through the Victims of Crime Act. Approximately $2,500,000 is available for the subaward performance period of April 1, 2017, through March 31, 2019. To receive funding through the XU Program, the application package must be received or postmarked by March 15, 2017. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to Derek Thomas, Human Trafficking Unit Program Specialist, at Derek.Thomas@caloes.ca.gov.
