Dear SAPC Providers,
The new SAPC Provider Directory will be one of the most important ways your organization will get new referrals beginning on July 1, 2017. Therefore, it is critical that you complete this survey for each of your service sites, including accurately projecting the number of treatment slots and assessment appointments. To help providers best describe their services, we will have a training to go over the purpose of each question and how the information will be used in the online version of the directory that will be accessed by the public and used by the toll-free referral line. Please join us for this in-person session (we also hope to have a webinar version too and will send information if/when it is available):

Dear SAPC Providers,
Join the SAPC Provider Directory! Responses due by Friday, April 28, 2017.
As Substance Abuse Prevention and Control prepares to launch the System Transformation to Advance Recovery and Treatment, Los Angeles County’s Substance Use Disorder Organized Delivery System (START-ODS) on July 1, 2017, and move towards a specialty managed care plan model, we are building the START-ODS Provider Directory that will include all Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) certified outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential, withdrawal management and opioid treatment program sites that are directly operated by contractors (excluding field-based sites and other locations that are not open to the general public such as schools). This directory will be the only tool used by the toll-free beneficiary access line and system navigators to direct youth and adults to treatment services. The START-ODS Provider Directory will also be posted on our website and included in the new web-based Service and Bed Availability Tool (SBAT) that will show slot/bed availability by site.
To be listed in the START-ODS Provider Directory, you must complete one survey per directly-operated facility location (each site address). Please ensure that your responses are accurate and complete, and reflect how services are currently provided, so that individuals are directed to locations that best match their needs and preferences. You may update this information when there are changes or new DMC-certified sites are added. REMEMBER: Since contractors must be DMC-certified for contracted levels of care by July 1, 2017, this directory will only include DMC certified sites at the time of launch, and will be updated as new DMC sites are added to ensure a complete and accurate list of treatment locations.
Your response to this survey is very important to ensure patients can be referred to your program(s) in a timely manner. Please complete one survey per site by the deadline (April 28, 2017). The attached PDF [is provided so you can prepare your response in advance, but all submissions must be completed online (the attached PDF/hard copy will not be accepted).
If you have any questions, please email SUDtransformation@ph.lacounty.gov.
