Dear SAPC Providers and Stakeholders,
This Thursday, May 11th, we will be holding a two-part meeting. First, we will provide a brief Provider Directory Survey Training to highlight the importance of accurate data entry and projections. Secondly, an interactive Provider Staffing Discussion will describe staffing responsibilities and standards for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment services in Los Angeles County. Provider Directory Training
The new SAPC Provider Directory will be one of the most important ways your organization will get new referrals beginning on July 1, 2017. Therefore, it is critical that you complete this survey for each of your service sites, including accurately projecting the number of treatment slots and assessment appointments. To help providers best describe their services, we will have a training to go over the purpose of each question and how the information will be used in the online version of the directory that will be accessed by the public and used by the toll-free referral line.
Provider Staffing Guidelines Discussion
This session will be highly interactive, and participants will be expected to (1) contribute to the meeting discussion, (2) thoroughly review related documents in advance, and (3) provide supplemental research or data, if needed. The attached documents provide more information on the stakeholder process and provider staffing guidelines.
